Pontrilas builder’s merchants stock building supplies for trade and DIY jobs. Our huge stock of builders supplies enables you to get everything you need to complete your project under one roof. Our new building merchant outlet is just one mile from the Pontrilas Group’s sawmill, where we source our home grown timber supplies.

DIY Shop & Supplies

Our friendly staff have years of experience in the trade, and can offer advice on DIY supplies to make sure you get the right materials and tools for the job. Our new showroom is packed with all the power tools, hand tools, hardware and safety equipment required to make your DIY project a success, from cement to whole kitchens.

Timber Merchants

We have the largest stock of softwood and hardwood in the region, including FSC®  sourced materials meaning that we can supply high quality materials from well managed sources.

With 5 generations of experience in the timber industry, today the group take logs from the forest all the way to machined finished kiln dried timber.  As well as home grown timber Pontrilas Merchants source specialist timbers from around the world. Timbers can be cut and pressure treated in our own facility to meet customer’s specific requirements.

Garden Ideas

Our purpose built 3 acre site includes a comprehensive range of garden supplies, including garden furniture, sheds, garden seats and fencing. We also stock a wide range of gravel and decorative stones for garden paths and driveways. New to Pontrilas Merchants is our range of children’s swings and slides, and we have all the timber, hardware and sand to make your little ones their own sandpit!

Home Interiors

We supply a full range of kitchens and bathrooms ready for assembly. Visit our showroom to see some finished examples and find the one to suit your home. We offer a full design service. We stock a large range of wood burning stoves and multi fuel stoves from Dean Forge and Esse, leaders in log burners.

Flooring

The Pontrilas Group sawmill supplies us with hardwood flooring in solid oak and softwood flooring in redwood pine, available in a variety of widths and lengths ready for staining. Pre-finished floor boards are available to order along with engineered flooring.

Delivery

We run a fleet of delivery vehicles across the midlands, south west and South Wales. All our vehicles are equipped with hi-ab crane arms for bulk deliveries. Minimum orders apply; please contact us for more details…
